Dr. Fields graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry in 1983. Prior to this, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Biology from the University of Pittsburgh and attended Temple University School of Pharmacy.
After working two years as an associate dentist in a small practice, Dr. Fields established Fields Family Dentistry in April 1985. Founded on the basic principles of high-quality care and excellent patient relations, 30 years later, the practice continues to thrive.
Dr. Fields is certified with the National Board of Dental Examinations and North East Regional Board of Examinations. He is a Master in the Academy of General Dentistry and received the LLSR (Life Long Service Recognition) Award. In addition, Dr. Fields is a member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, Harrisburg Area Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry. He serves as Co-Chairman of the Advocacy Committee for the PAGD, Board of Directors for Clinicians Report Foundation and a CRA dental products evaluator for over 25 years. Dr. Fields was the former dentist for the Harrisburg Heat Professional Soccer Team, Northern York School District and the Dental Assistant Advisor for Cumberland Perry Vo-Technical School. Dr. Fields was formerly affiliated with Health South Hospital, and Lifecare Rehabilitation Center.
Dr. Fields has been married to his high school sweetheart Vickie Ollinger Fields for 36 years. They have two daughters, Carissa Rae and Caylene Rochelle.
